Um épico famoso sobre a Rainha do Nilo. Quer seja mais conhecido pelo casal Taylor-Richard Burton
(que se conheceram e apaixonaram durante as filmagens), ou pela soma colossal gasta nele
ou pelas advertências lúgubres que recebeu, o filme, embora visualmente espectacular,
é uma dura prova de quatro horas. No entanto, o filme tem duas interpretações dignas de destaque,
a de Rex Harrison (César) e a de Roddy McDowall.

(they met and fell in love during the shooting) or the colossal sum spent on it or the dreary notices it received,
the film, though spectacular looking, is a tough four-hour viewing.
However, it does feature two award-calibre performances by Rex Harrison (Ceasar) and Roddy McDowall.
