Passado em Berlim, "The Raspberry Reich" centra-se num grupo de terroristas cuja missão é nada menos do que uma revolução gay. Autodenominando-se como o exemplo máximo do "radical chic", citam o Exercito Vermelho como modelo a seguir. A sua luta armada inicia-se com o rapto de Patrick, cujo pai é um dos mais ricos banqueiros alemães. No entanto, Clyde, um dos terroristas, acaba no porta-bagagem do carro com Patrick, e os dois acabam por apaixonar-se, pondo em perigo todo o plano da revolução. Entretanto, Gudrun, a única mulher e líder do grupo activista, fervorosa seguidora de Wilhelm Reich, não se cansa de pregar as suas teses. Declara a monogamia como uma construção burguesa e a heterosexualidade como o "ópio do povo". Por tudo isto, ela força os seus camaradas a terem relações sexuais entre si. Nem Holger, o seu namorado, escapa às suas ordens. Gudrun acredita que esta é a única forma de levar a revolução a bom termo.

Set in Berlin, Bruce LaBruce's film centers on a group of terrorists who are working on nothing less than a gay revolution. Calling themselves the proponents of "radical chic", they cite Germany's Red Army Faction as their role models. Their armed struggle commences with Patrick's kidnapping, who's father is one of Germany's richest bankers. However, Clyde, one of the terrorists ends up in the trunk of the getaway car with Patrick, and they fall in love, putting in danger the whole revolutionary plan. Meanwhile, Gudrun, the activists' leader and an impassioned follower of Wilhelm Reich, never tires of preaching her theses. Monogamy, she pronounces, is a bourgeois construct, and heterosexuality the "opiate of the masses". For this reason, she forces her male comrades-in-arms to have sex with each other, even her boyfriend Holger. This, she believes, is the only way they can put their revolutionary zeal to the test.
