Dois jovens toxicodependentes passeiam pelas ruas de Madrid enquanto fazem um balanço das suas vidas. Os seus antigos empregos, relações amorosas e afeições compartilhadas, são os principais temas de conversa. O surpreendente vocabulário que tão bem manejam dá um tom de humor a esta triste história de duas pessoas condenadas a viver uma dependência provocada pela heroína. La China revela-nos uma outra faceta da toxicodependência, uma visão realista na qual as personagens não se querem imiscuir com a sociedade. Têm apenas um ao outro, mas isso basta-lhes. São conscientes do seu irremediável futuro embora isso não os converta nas vítimas da história.

Two young drug-addicts wander the streets of Madrid as they recall their lives. Their former jobs, their relationships and affective commitments are the main topics of conversation. The surprising vocabulary they so well master gives a touch of humour to this otherwise sad story of two people condemned to a dependency on heroin. La China revels us a different facet of drug-addiction, a realist vision by which the characters do not want to blend with society. They only have each other, but that is enough for them. They're conscious of their irremediable future although this doesn't convert them in to the victims of this story.
